Eat Shop Explore

Are you ready for the biggest shopping weekend of the year? While lots of big box stores and national chains are opening on Thanksgiving day, the businesses of The Crossnore School will be enjoying a holiday with our students, friends, and family.

But on Friday, and especially on Small Business Saturday, we invite you to shop local and support a great cause! All of the businesses on the Crossnore campus exist to support the mission of The Crossnore School. They provide valuable learning experiences for our students, and much needed income for our programs.

You can't go wrong when you shop local and shop with a mission. #EatShopExplore #TheCrossnoreSchool Click To Tweet

So enjoy Thanksgiving day with your family and friends. And then join us on Friday, November 27 and Saturday, November 28.

We look forward to seeing you!

Racism is Trauma

Crossnore School & Children’s Home exists to be a sanctuary for children and their families and racism destroys sanctuary. Racism is trauma and is part of systemic community trauma that has long term negative impacts on people and communities of color. Crossnore believes that black lives matter, and we are committed to building an anti-racist organization and supporting the development of racial equity in our communities.
