Our Foster Care and Adoptions program trains foster families to receive their foster care license from the state of North Carolina.

Clinical Services
Clinical Services are offered to children and families at all three of our locations following a complete assessment.
In our store you can find beautiful pieces created by our Crossnore Weavers, as well as Crossnore-branded gear.
The Center for Trauma Resilient Communities offers customized training to meet the needs of your group, team, or organization.

2019 WNC Foster & Adoptive Parent Conference


Join us on November 16th for the 2019 WNC Foster & Adoptive Parent Conference. Hosted by Mountain Area Health Education Center, in conjunction with Crossnore School & Children's Home Fostering Communities, and the YMCA of Western NC. This one day conference will be an opportunity for foster and adoptive parents across western NC to be poured into and re-equipped for the challenging and unique roles you play in our community.
