Child & Family Therapist
Marnie Kiser is a Child and Family Therapist, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, and a National Certified Counselor with over 20 years of experience in helping children, adolescents, adults and families work collaboratively to find hope and healing. Marnie received her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Montreat College. She is a member of the Chi Sigma Iota, Mu Chi Chapter of Professional Counselors and a member of the American Counseling Association. As an agent of change, she uses a holistic, strengths-based, person-centered approach and evidence-based practices, including but not limited to: DBT, CBT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Play Therapy, and Family Systems. Marnie has extensive experience in working with individuals and families in the foster care system that have experienced trauma and is clinically trained in EMDR by EMDR institute, Inc. to resolve trauma. Marnie partnered with Crossnore Communities for Children in 2023 and serves children on our Avery campus.
