Jennifer Costa

Bio
In a world dominated by technology and digital images, our need is great for things that are authentic and tactile. What could be more appealing than the warm, subtle textures of wool? Add the beauty of rich dyes, attractive scenes, and artistic shading, and you end up with beautiful art! I hand craft each of my fine art pieces, and display them creatively in upcycled wood or simple frames. A native of Louisiana, Jennifer Screen Costa graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with a Master of Music (2004) and with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Pedagogy (2002). She and her husband now reside in Charlotte, NC, with their two daughters, ages thirteen and ten. She is currently a homeschooling mom and piano teacher, who has been teaching piano and working in church music for over twenty-five years. While Jennifer has enjoyed crafts of all kinds since childhood, she began needle felting during the COVID pandemic, and now employs those skills in the field of needle-felted landscape art.
