Caroline Hart graduated from Peace College (now William Peace University) in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in Communication and completed her CFRE (Certified Fundraising Professional) in 2021.
After spending 17 years in higher education fundraising and communications, Caroline joined the Crossnore Communities for Children team in November 2014 as Chief Advancement Officer. In 2019, she transitioned to Chief External Relations Officer, and in 2025, her role expanded to Chief External Relations and Strategy Officer to include organizational strategy and business development. In addition, she also leads the communications, community engagement and fund development teams. In her spare time, she loves relaxing at the beach, saltwater fishing, and traveling. Caroline is married to Jim Hart and the couple has five children.
