The Farm

The Farm is an integral part of our Winston-Salem campus, as well as a valuable community resource. Situated on the 212-acre campus on the edge of downtown Winston-Salem, NC, The Farm preserves the region’s rich agricultural heritage allowing the community to experience an authentic working farm and purchase fresh local farm products.

The animals at The Farm are also part of the therapeutic program for children of Crossnore School & Children’s Home. The animals at The Farm motivate our children to seek out ways to manage life’s adversities. While teaching the importance of boundaries and friendships, the animals connect with the children encouraging healing and caring for others, whether they stand on two legs or four.
