Crossnore Strawberries

STRAWBERRY SEASON HAS ENDED FOR 2020! THANKS TO ALL WHO BOUGHT STRAWBERRIES AND HELPED US HAVE A SUCCESSFUL SEASON. SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!

Due to restrictions necessitated by Covid-19, we will be unable to offer U-Pick options this year.

As of 4/16/2020, we are SOLD OUT of pre-orders. Weather and picking conditions permitting, we will have strawberries for sale on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays beginning at 10 am until we’re sold out, from May 6 hopefully through May 22Demand is far greater than our supply.  While we will do our best, you may wait in line for long periods and still not get berries.  Please note: the farm entrance is closed – please use the main entrance only.

When picking up your strawberries, please follow the directions and signs – you will enter at the MAIN ENTRANCE, turn left, follow the cones through a parking lot.  PLEASE STAY IN LINE – DO NOT PARK.  When you reach the strawberry cart, you may exit your car, one customer/car at a time, select and pay for your strawberries (or let us know you’re a pre-pay customer), and exit campus.

Thank you for your understanding, patience and support of Crossnore!

Racism is Trauma

Crossnore School & Children’s Home exists to be a sanctuary for children and their families and racism destroys sanctuary. Racism is trauma and is part of systemic community trauma that has long term negative impacts on people and communities of color. Crossnore believes that black lives matter, and we are committed to building an anti-racist organization and supporting the development of racial equity in our communities.
