Crossnore is aware that it is age appropriate for youth in transition to exhibit some degree of non-compliance. A successful, planned transition to independence is the goal for every youth and young adult; however, sometimes the needs or wants of the youth and young adult changes and a different kind of program is more appropriate. It is possible to be evicted from the Youth Independent Living program in cases where a participant’s behavior becomes a danger to self or to the others, a participant refuses to participate in the plan that they have developed for their progress toward independence, or they do not abide by the conditions set by Crossnore’s policy and procedures.
