  • Complete the following blocks to help us understand the steps you've taken to resolve your grievance. The first step is for the person with a complaint to speak directly to the staff member involved, if they feel comfortable doing so. If the person does not feel safe addressing the issue, he/she may bring it to the attention of the Case Manager, Therapist,or other staff.

  • If the matter was not resolved above, the supervisor should be made aware in order to assist in filing a grievance or scheduling an All Hands meeting, if necessary.

  • If the matter was not resolved above, you have the right to meet with the Executive Team member within the chain of command of the supervisor.

Racism is Trauma

Crossnore School & Children’s Home exists to be a sanctuary for children and their families and racism destroys sanctuary. Racism is trauma and is part of systemic community trauma that has long term negative impacts on people and communities of color.
